Ganesh Festival Starts on Ganesh Chathurti. From that day till next 10 days the festival is celebrated. The last day is called as Anant Chaturdashi. But some people at home have 1 day & 5 days celebration. This is likewise as the Ganpati is worshiped at home as per there believe. There is no as such compaltion to keep Ganpati for the all 10 days. The Ganpati is welcomed on Ganesh Chathurti. The worship place is decorated by various things such as flowers, thermocol design sheets, lighting and many more things. On this decorated place the Ganpati is worshiped. The mandals start there decoration 2-3weeks before the festival. The mandals make decoration which contains dramatic scenes which gives knowledge & information about the historic days. The decoration also contains replicas of temples,historic monuments, etc. Lights on music is also one of the most favorite & beautiful decoration done. This decoration is kept open for 10 days for public to watch. Public from various places come to watch this decoration done by various Ganesh mandals. 

The last day of festival 10th day is called as 'Ganpati Visarjan'. On this day the idol of the Ganpati are taken out from the mandap and are kept on the decorated trolleys for the 'Visarjan Miraunuk'.The 'visarjan miraunuk' takes place on the various roads of the city. Laxmi road,Tilak road,Kumtekar road,Kelkar Road,etc.All the people from various places are gathered on these road to see the auspicious,beautiful,energetic visarhjan miraunuk.The visarjan miraunuk are seen with drums , bands & various performances by school childrens. The mainly attraction in the visarjan miraunuk is the cultural instruments called DHOL & TASHA.The virsarjan Miruanuk starts withe 5 main Ganpati called as 'Manache Ganpati' followed by the other mandal Ganpatis in line one after the other.This miraunuk last for two days as there are more than 500 Ganpati Mandals.

Gauri - Ganpati - (At Home) -The Ganesh Worshiped at some home for more than 1day also worship of Gauri which are on 4th day of the festival. On 4th day the 'Gauri Agman' is done. 'Gauri Agman' means the Gauri are welcomed at home. (Here Gauri are idols). On the 'Gauri Agman' the ladies fully dress up with new clothes, were jewellery and invites the relative and neighborhood for the darshan, prasad & Hald kunku. This Hald Kunku is one of the religious thing perform. In this the ladies put Hald Kunku on the forehead of each other. On 5th day of the festival is 'Gauri-Ganpati visarjan'.
